Hvorfor samle på gammel radiolitteratur??

Det bunder primært i interesse for den tekniske udvikling indenfor radioteknikken. Ved hjælp af de gamle bøger og blade kan man følge udviklingen på nært hold. Det er også interessant at se de mange forskellige ideer til løsning af problemerne. Nogle blev udviklet til noget brugbart og andre faldt fuldstændig til jorden. Efterhånden som samlingen voksede, blev det også et mål at få komplette bogserier og tidsskrifter. Der er også det mål at bevare den gamle litteratur, idet en bog om radio af mange betragtes som noget gammelt skrammel, som bare skal smides ud. Megen god litteratur er gået tabt på den måde når dødsboer skulle ryddes. Så derfor er det vigtigt at offentliggøre, at det findes nogle, som gerne vil bevare disse ting.
Det store problem er at få kontakt med ligesindede. De fleste samler på gamle radioer og har litteraturen som en biting. Jeg har endnu ikke truffet nogen, som primært samler på radiolitteraturen.

Why collect old radio literature?

It all started with an interest in the technical development within radio. With the help of the old books and magazines you can closely follow the development. It is also interesting to see the many different ideas solving the different problems. Some became accepted techniques and others disappeared quickly. When the collection was growing it became interesting to have complete series of books and magazines. It is also a goal to preserve the old books and magazines about radio. For many these items are old rubbish so much good literature has been trashed. Therefore it is very important to publish that somebody wants to preserve these thing.
The great problem is to get in touch with others with the same interest. Most are collecting old radios and have the literature as secondary items. I have no yet met anybody who collect radio literature as the primary object.
