Tips.

Repairing magazines and books:

Use water-based glue when you repair magazines and books. It leaves no or only few traces.
I use Uhu universal glue with great success.

You can smooth out crumpled paper by doing this:

Moisten the paper with a wring out sponge.
Put first sandwich paper and then blotting paper on both sides of the crumpled paper.
Put it all in pressure under heavy books some days.
